Terms of Service

These Terms of Use («Terms») govern your access to and use of the life:)on platform, including the website life-on.com.ua and mobile applications (Android, iOS). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Service Description

life:)on is a digital platform that provides the following services:

Search and selection of trainers, dietitians, and rehabilitation specialists
Keeping a training diary and analysing progress
Sports event listings and registration
Search for sports halls and grounds
Encyclopedia of Sports
Other features to be added in the future

The legal entity details of the Platform operator are provided on request to the address legal@life-on.com.ua They will be published on this page after the official registration is completed.

2. Registration and Account

Registration is required to use most Platform features. You agree to:

Provide reliable and up-to-date information
Keep your login details confidential
Inform us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
Do not grant access to your account to third parties

The minimum age for registration is 16 years.

3. User types

3.1 Athletes / Active users

Basic access to trainer search, a diary, and a poster is free. Premium features are available by subscription.

3.2 Coaches and specialists

A subscription is required to feature a profile in the directory. Coaches are fully responsible for the authenticity of their qualifications and licences. life:)on is not responsible for the quality of services provided by coaches.

3.3 Event Organisers

Organisers are fully responsible for the staging of registered events, including participant safety and refunds in the event of cancellation.

3.4 Sports facilities

Establishments are responsible for the accuracy of information regarding schedules, prices, and availability.

4. Rules of conduct

Forbidden:

To publish false, offensive or illegal information
Impersonate another person or organisation
Posting spam, advertising without permission
Collecting other users' data without their consent
Attempting to breach or bypass the Platform's security systems
Infringe intellectual property rights
To use the Platform for any illegal activity

5. User-generated content

By posting content on the Platform (photos, texts, reviews), you grant life:)on a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use this content for the operation and promotion of the Platform. You remain the owner of your content. You guarantee that you have the rights to the content posted.

5.1 Complaints about rights infringements (takedown procedure)

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your rights (copyright, trademark, image rights, rights to honour and dignity) - please send a reasoned complaint to legal@life-on.com.ua. In the address, specify:

Specific link to the controversial content
Description of violation and evidence of your rights
Your contact details

We will review your complaint within 14 working days and inform you of the decision. Should the complaint be substantiated, the content will be removed or restricted.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Tariffs and subscription terms are published on the relevant Platform page
Payment is made through secure payment systems that comply with the PCI DSS standard
The subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it before the end of the billing period.
Residents of the EU have the right to cancel a paid service within 14 days of payment, unless the service has already been fully provided with your express consent.
Refunds are processed in accordance with a separate Returns Policy or the terms of a specific tariff.
We reserve the right to change tariffs, with advance notice of at least 30 days.

7. Reviews and ratings

Reviews on the Platform must be honest and based on real experience. Publishing fake reviews, ordering, or deleting reviews for reward is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Platform, including design, code, logos, trademarks, and content created by us, belong to life:)on or our licensors. Copying, reproducing, or using these materials without written permission is prohibited.

9. Disclaimer

life:)on is an intermediary between users and is not a party to agreements between athletes, coaches, and event organisers. We are not responsible for:

The quality of services provided by trainers or organisers
Injuries or damages incurred during training or events
Misinformation posted by users
Service interruptions on the Platform due to technical reasons beyond our control
Third-party actions

Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms will limit any liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury, intentional acts or gross negligence).

10. Medical Disclaimer

The content on the Platform is for informational purposes only and Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. Before starting any exercise programme, changing your diet, taking dietary supplements, or undertaking any other activity that could affect your health, please consult a qualified medical professional.

Algorithmic recommendations, blog articles, translations of scientific publications, and other content on the Platform do not substitute an in-person consultation with a medical professional. life:)on is not liable for the consequences of using information from the Platform without proper medical advice.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for non-performance or improper performance of obligations if it is due to circumstances beyond their control, including, but not limited to:

Military actions, armed aggression, mobilisation, declaration of martial law or a state of emergency
Terrorist acts, cyberattacks on critical infrastructure
Natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes
Epidemics and pandemics, quarantine restrictions
Disruptions in electricity, heating, water supply, and internet connectivity
Decisions of state bodies that make it impossible to fulfil obligations
Failures on the part of critical service providers (hosting, payment systems, third parties)

In the event of force majeure circumstances, we will make all reasonable efforts to restore the Platform's operation as soon as possible.

12. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without notice in the event of a breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting privacy@life-on.com.ua.

13. Mobile applications and third-party platforms

If you download the life:)on mobile application via the App Store (Apple Inc.) or Google Play (Google LLC), you additionally agree to the terms and conditions of the respective app store. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms, do not bear responsibility for the application's operation and are not obliged to provide support. Any complaints, refunds for in-app purchases, and technical support are handled according to the rules of the specific app store.

14. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes shall be settled through negotiations, and if this is not possible, through the court at the location of life:)on, unless otherwise provided by mandatory consumer protection laws.

For EU residents: You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact the consumer protection dispute resolution body in your country.

For California residents: You have the right to dispute and resolve disputes in accordance with the procedures provided by the CCPA/CPRA.

15. Amendments to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of any significant changes at least 30 days before they come into effect. Continued use of the Platform after such changes come into effect signifies your acceptance of them. If you do not agree with the new terms, you have the right to delete your account before the changes come into effect.
